For the past few years, we’ve been working at a deep, systemic level to embed equity, inclusion, and growth into every facet of our work, and modernize how we operate. Though we had taken some important steps before, the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted us to move this work forward with more urgency and boldness. From the changing and heightened needs of our community and the innovative ways people and organizations are responding, to the evolving nature of remote work, we’ve seen how we must adapt the ways we show up for our communities. Our board of directors, leadership, and staff have been on this journey together, knowing we will look different on the other side.

With expert guidance and compassionate focus, we are sharing several new and modified staff positions, created to tackle important, systems-changing work as we boldly move forward, committed as ever to ensuring every child in Lane County succeeds. We are building on our 75-year history and reimagining a new version of United Way—one where diverse, creative team members collaborate in new ways; tackle problems with fresh perspectives; partner with the community in authentic ways; and where we hold ourselves accountable to advance equity and prosperity in everything we do.

We are currently accepting applications for the following positions, closing May 28:

We are excited to share these new positions, one part of many developments over the last few years as we build a more modern and anti-racist United Way. We welcome applicants ready for this challenging and rewarding work of creating communities where every child thrives.
