Emerging Leaders

Emerging Leaders are young professionals 40 years of age of younger who are the next generation of community leaders and philanthropists. As a group, they participate in volunteer activities, educational forums, professional development, social events and other activities.

The group meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month.  Upcoming events include:

  • January 23, 11:45am: Board Roles and Responsibilities Training

  • February 20, 10:30am: Coffee Meetup

  • February 27, 5pm: Not for Profit Board and Committee Connect

  • March 21: Book Drive Kick-off

  • March 27: Professional Development

  • April 17, 10:30am: Coffee Meetup

  • April: Annual Book Sort & Social

Retire United

Whether you are preparing to retire soon or have been retired for years, your community still needs you!  Retire United is a new group that meets every other month to help retirees stay up-to-date on current community issues, while discovering volunteer opportunities and connecting with others.  Click here to download the Retire United brochure.

The group will meet the first Wednesday every other month from 10:30am-12:00pm with a light lunch following.  Upcoming events include:

        February 6: Health & Wellness of our Community

        April 3: Literacy Efforts Across Lane County

        June 5: Food Programs Making a Difference

        August 7: Volunteerism!

        October 2: Programs Helping Youth

        December 4: Housing Initiatives
