Join United Way of Lane County and Burley to provide dental kits to children throughout Lane County.
Right now, Oregon has one of the highest rates of childhood dental disease in the country. Dental issues can keep kids out of school and cause financial and emotional distress for families struggling to get by. Plus, helping kids create good oral hygiene habits can prevent more than just cavities because more serious health problems can result later in life from poor oral care.
United Way of Lane County and Burley are teaming up to change that by providing children in Lane County with dental kit, along with curriculum support for educators and information for parents.
Thanks to many generous volunteers, our assembly sessions are now full.
