Give to United Way of Lane County

In Lane County, one unexpected moment can change everything.

For many people, it’s a missed paycheck, a medical bill, or a car repair. Suddenly, groceries feel out of reach. Rent becomes uncertain. Stability starts to slip.

That’s the reality for thousands of households in our community who are working hard but still struggling to afford the basics.

But here’s what we also know: when our community shows up together, those moments don’t have to become crises. And United is the Way forward.

Your gift to United Way is combined with others across Lane County to create meaningful, strategic investments in local solutions. Together, these funds support community-driven grants, direct programs, and partnerships that help families access food, housing support, childcare, and education, so they can regain stability and thrive.

Because of donors like you, United Way of Lane County was able to make investments in 2024-2025 which led to:

  • Providing 5,878 emergency food boxes in rural communities

  • Supporting 5,454 individuals with essentials like housing, food, and energy assistance

  • Preparing 538 children for kindergarten through high-quality preschool

  • Delivering 24,926 books to children across Lane County

  • Connecting youth to mentorship, mental health support, and safe spaces to grow

This is what it looks like when a community mobilizes, so all can thrive!
