United Way partners with Reach out and Read® to increase literacy skills for children

United Way of Lane County works to advance the common good by focusing on the building blocks for a good life; EDUCATION, INCOME, and HEALTH. By partnering with social service providers, business, government, and volunteers we aim to improve community conditions for all. United Way’s 10-year EDUCATION goal is increase the number of children who enter school ready to learn. United Way is proud to partner with Reach out and Read®, a program that provides a critical early literacy opportunity for our most vulnerable children.
