Volunteer of the Month
In a partnership with our local newspaper The Register-Guard, United Way of Lane County acknowledges Lane County volunteers through the Volunteer of the Month program.
A volunteer committee reviews monthly nominations and selects one person to be featured in the monthly newspaper feature entitled “Community Solutions: A Call to Action for Volunteers.” Click here for a recent example.
The program culminates with the annual Volunteer of the Year Awards which is held in April each year.
It’s easy to submit a Volunteer of the Month nomination either online or via mail or fax.
