Women and Philanthropy
The mission of the Women & Philanthropy Initiative is to create a powerful leadership network of women who strengthen our community through a focused investment of time, talent and treasure. Members of the Women & Philanthropy Initiative give gifts of $1,500 or more and are asked to dedicated at least $500 of their gift to the Women & Philanthropy Fund.
The Women & Philanthropy Fund, established in 2005, awarded its first grants in May of 2006. With “out of school time” programs as the giving focus, the Fund awarded a total of $25,000 to five Lane County agencies serving rural and at risk youth.
